Dr. R N Mishra

Master in Medicine from the prestigious SCB Medical College and  Master in Businesses administration from IIM, Kolkata. Between 80s to 90s, he served as an advisor & consultant to several international Drug and Pharma companies, such as Reckitt – Colman, Smith Stanistreet Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Etc.

In late 90s he founded a Hospital and Research Centre at his parental city, Cuttack. At same time he had researched on the blue blood of horse-shoe crabs, which are found in large number in Odisha, could be the potential savior of human health. But later he dissociated himself from the project as people and drug mafias started killing crores of innocent crabs for easy money.

He was then specially invited to be the  advisor of HiTech Medical Collage and Hospital, the first private medical college in eastern India, to streamline the academic curriculum and to guide the mission policy. Though it is private, but a not for profit Medical College associated with 500 bed Tertiary Teaching Hospital, drawing faculty and students from all over the country.

Apart from pharmaceutical and drug industry experience, he is known for his orator skills and knowledge on policy making, ethics and its consequence in political management. He is an avid writer and his articles are often featured in the leading newspapers, magazine and journals.
