Fake Free India Foundation is a non-profit NGO supporting and spearheading the Government of India, State Governments and Governments of the World in their fight against Fake & Counterfeit.

As part of this effort, Fake Free India (www.fakefreeindia.org) also highlightes the issues and incidents of counterfeiting in India through –

• Policy Research initiatives (surveys, studies, whitepapers, stakeholder consultations etc.)
• Direct Stakeholders’ Engagements through Events such as seminars, training workshops, exhibitions etc.
• Media & Social Engagement on the fake and counterfeiting (incident reporting, press conference, editorial content creation, interviews, social media platform etc.)
• Intelligence gathering & sharing with relevant authorities and stakeholders

There are hundreds of areas affected by the menace of fake and counterfeit. But we at Fake Free India have prioritized a few areas as per the need of Indian environment. We have chosen the areas which affect masses at large, most like:

• Home, Kitchen appliances & Electrical products
• Tobacco and Alcohol
• Education Books
• Intellectual Properties (Entertainment, Literature and Software etc.)

In its fight against Fake & Counterfeit, Fake Free India (www.fakefreeindia.org) partners with various stakeholders including Government Departments (state, centre and international), Industry bodies, Indian and International Law & Enforcement agencies, NGOs, National and International organisations, Media and various other organisations and individuals who are fighting against fake and counterfeit and safeguarding public health.

Anyone can join the cause by way of volunteering with whatever skill-set one has. You can be a volunteer, informer, a victim who can report his/her ordeal of fake and counterfeit or you can simply support the cause of Fake Free India by donating.
