Deputy Inspector General, BSF (Retd.); Weapon Shooting Champion, Anti-Smuggling and War Tactics Trainer
Sh Perm Chauhan is a versatile person and a master in numerous arenas. A trainer of weapon and tactics at BSF premier institute, “Central school of weapons and tactics”, Sh Chauhan is India’s highly cherished Border Warrior fighting smugglers and intruders at International border both Pakistan and Bangladesh. He joined BSF in 1976, rose to the prime rank and retired as Deputy Inspector General. Under his leadership, BSF achieved many honours in shooting sports and in fighting militancy Pan India. He has been a champion of 10 major sports i.e. athletics (middle distance running), football, boxing, wrestling, swimming, water-polo, handball, rifle & pistol shooting, tennis & golf.
A great admirer of the Indian value system and a practitioner of reforms, Mr. Chauhan was highly impressed with the vision of Fake free India to see India to lead the world in the fight against Fakes and joined as an advisor to guide FFI for its mission.
A humble human who turns his learning into teaching by coaching children for almost all sports. He is BSc, BPEd and MSc in Physical Education/ Sports (Twice Gold medalist from PU Chandigarh) with specialization in sports medicine. He has also written a widely accredited book on shooting sports. Presently he is writing another motivational book for parents on how to groom their kids to make them Champion sports person. His parenting skillset made his daughter and both the sons as National Champions in shooting.
A great learner of music Sh Chauhan fervently follows Mehdi Hasan Sahab and Kumar Gandharv Sahab. Another great quality he poses is in the field of Vedic Astrology. He is on the Expert penal of astrologers for an International Astrological portal. A true follower of Vedic astro-science he made a name in this field because of his precise prediction on the basis of scientific calculation. He is highly adorable in this sphere with many of his predictions came 100 per cent true during his last 28 years of practice.
Apart from the advising FFI, presently he is CEO of an international NGO working for the Development of Indian Village life and retain the usefulness and Glory of Indian breed Cows. He is also an avid writer and presently writing for movies, cinemas and web-series.
